Your 2023 aspiration is a joke taken too far as no magic can guarantee you victory in Adamawa; group tells Grace Bent.

A coalition under the aegis of Adamawa south Liberation Movement (ASLM) has warned a former senator Grace Bent against seeking any elective office in Adamawa south again, saying it would amount to political suicide, adding that her four years in the Senate has only brought a deficit to her people.

 

 

Speaking with Journalists on Wednesday, the convener of the Movement, Pwanovi Mathias, said no campaign of calumny or self-aggrandisement by the former senator would guarantee her victory as her era of self-praise to coax the people is over.

 

 

It is enough that her four years at the National Assembly has not in any way impacted the lives of the people but has instead left them worse than they were. There was absolutely nothing anywhere in this Constituency to show that we have a representative in Abuja then. 

 

 

Apart from the window dressing called projects, we watch her display in those days. We thank her for serving her welfare and that of her family, but we are saying enough is enough. 

 

 

It is time to give way for a more pragmatic, committed and trusted son of Adamawa south to represent us. That is the way to go”.

“We are also aware that most of the achievements she was laying claims to were not hers, but we humbly admonished her not to seek any elective office in Adamawa south again as doing that will amount to political summersault.

“what she cannot achieve in PDP what makes her think she can achieve it in the APC, her desperation to go back to the Senate is written all over her, but we can assure her that she cannot win even councillor again in Adamawa south.

 

“How does anyone expect a greenhorn in politics like Binos Yaroe to defeat Bent in a primary? Someone who can defeat a political neophyte like Binos Yaroe in the party primary, who can she defeat in APC in 2023?
