Accept election defeat now, Group tells Adamawa south APC Aspirants.
The Chairman, Adamawa united for change has urged the defeated APC aspirants of Adamawa south to accept defeat and congratulates Ismaila Numan that has thrashed them to win Adamawa south APC senatorial ticket in the last primary of the party in Adamawa.
AUC said in a statement by its spokeman, Pwanovi Mathias, said that the defeated aspirants lied by claiming Ismaila Numan engaged in voting buying and delegates inducements to secure victory over them.
“That is straight from the defeated APC aspirants book of lies, most of those contesting today are serial contestants that were defeated even when they were in PDP also defeated in the last contest, having failed in the last primary of the APC in Adamawa south, they must be ashamed of the cheap lies being churned out on a daily basis by the thoroughly discredited aspirants.
In less than a day, the four defeated aspirants has reeled out four embarrassing false alarms.
“It claimed the agent of the leading APC candidtate, Ismaila Numan was caught inducing delegates with cash; it was a lie.
It followed that with the ridiculous claim that some of the aspirants were in church and could not attend the suplementary senatorial primary of the APC.
Today, they are crying wolf again. This time, it is fear of defeat that led them to write a descredited petition to the NWC looking for disqualifaction of Numan having seen he can’t be defeated.
How shameful? Is this all the defeated aspirants can offer? False alarms!
They are ashamed to tell the people that some of them can not secure even a single votes talk more of trailing Numan that is crusing to victory.
It is about time the five defeated aspirants realised that the people of Adamawa south are tired of their lies.
There is nothing wrong if the five of them throws in the towel at this stage as it has become apparent that they are finding it difficults to confront the imminent defeat in the coming elections,” the Group said in a statement today.
