Adamawa State Deputy Governor designate, Kaleptapwa Congratulates Fintiri

The Deputy Governor designate of Adamawa State, Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta, has congratulated the Governor of Adamawa state, Umaru Fintiri for his victory at the supreme court, describing his emergence as the boost needed by the party to build on the gains of the three years gains of his administration.

 

Farauta asserted that the manner in which the governorship primary of the PDP in Adamawa was conducted in a free, fair and transparent as validated by the Apex court is an indication of the readiness of the Fintiri-led government to consolidate the new experience he brought to governance in the state, there is no gainsaying the point of his wide acceptability and long term commitment to having a new Adamawa is worthy of emulation.

 

She said, ”I am happy with the victory of Governor Umaru Fintiri. His victory today at the court energises my belief in hard work and tenacity. He wanted it and worked for it. That many notable aspirants stepped down for him showed that he is loved. His emergence will, in no small way, assist our party in the next elections. I congratulate him.”

 

Farauta commended the PDP delegates and members by voting en mass for the governor in the last governorship primary that Fintiri contested unopposed.

 

The Deputy Governor designate who was recently nominated by Fintiri as running mate, further saluted the courage of other governorship aspirants who decided to put their ambition on hold to serve Adamawa by stepping down for Fintiri, despite their efforts, vision and years of hard work to make their dream come true.

 

She described those who decide not to contest alongside the governor in the last primary as true compatriots and stakeholders must see the outcome of the Supreme court judgement today as a victory for all.
