Fintiri mourns ex-Maiha council chairman, Idi Amin.

The late Idi Amin, a former council chairman of Maiha local government in Adamawa State, was described as a politician par excellence and a towering stateman by Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

“I express my heartfelt condolences to the family as we mourn the loss of a fearless political activist and leader in his own right.” Our grief is heightened by this loss at a time when the State requires Hon. Idi Amin’s services; I ask that Allah gives the family the strength to bear the loss, forgive his wrongdoings, and grant him Aljannah Firdausi.”

Governor Fintiri praised the late Mr. Idi Amin for his involvement in strengthening the leadership of Maiha local government, adding he left an indelible mark on our state’s development trajectory.

Governor Fintiri prayed for the serenity of his soul and the strength to bear the loss on behalf of those he left behind in his family, as well as the administration and people of the Maiha local government council.
