No ongoing recruitment for Direct Short Service course in the Army

The Nigerian Army has informed the general public that it has not yet begun direct short-service recruitment.

It urged people not to fall for the fraudulent “Nigerian Army Direct Short Service (DSS) Recruitment Portal for 2023” that has been circulating online.

Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, who is in charge of Army public relations, released this information on Tuesday in Abuja.

Nwachukwu warned Nigerians, especially candidates, to stay away from the bogus online since it was developed by dishonest people with the intent to cheat and mislead.

According to him, the Nigerian army has already set procedures in motion to apprehend individuals behind the fake portal.

Therefore, the general public is encouraged to notify the NA of any unusual recruitment portals or activity.

Through its established official lines of communication, the army will continue to be dedicated to providing a transparent and credible recruitment process.

The official mediums are the Nigerian Army’s website (https://army.mil.ng) and social media accounts (Twitter, @HQNigerianArmy). Trusted sources include Facebook, the Nigerian Army’s headquarters, and the press at large

Rather than falling for fraudulent internet recruiting ads, it is vital that you rely on these official sources for the most recent and correct information.

Potential employees will be led astray by fraudulent scams if they respond to misleading fake recruiting ads.

He emphasised the need for this refutation as advice to potential candidates.
