Re-appointment: Kyari begs stakeholders, Nigerians to cease sending messages of goodwill.

Officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, including Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) Malam Mele Kyari, have asked that Nigerians and other interested parties not send him congratulations messages about his reappointment.

Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., released a statement on Wednesday in which Kyari thanked stakeholders and Nigerians for their enthusiasm over President Bola Tinubu’s reappointment of him.

He did, however, stress the importance of everyone’s personal investment in boosting national income and naira stability.

Reappointment, according to Kyari, is a fresh challenge, but he is determined to stabilise the oil business and improve service performance to boost revenue.

I beg oil industry stakeholders and fellow Nigerians to rally behind the company he’s leading so it can fulfil its mission.

“Therefore, I kindly ask that everyone involved refrain from sending congratulations messages regarding his reappointment,” Kyari was reported as saying in the statement.
