I have solemn responsibility to reshape Adamawa. – Governor Fintiri
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State recently spoke about his “solemn responsibility” to reform the state while presenting the staff of office to Gubo Johnson Diyo Matalo, the king of Yungur Kingdom.
According to the governor, his statement represents his deep dedication to leading the state towards major progress, with an emphasis on infrastructure, education, healthcare, and overall growth.
“Since taking the Oath of Office as your governor six years ago, we articulated an 11-point agenda in my first tenure, which was re-crafted to an 8-point agenda in my second term.”
It may interest some people to know that I am not only a grassroots politician but also a historian. I am familiar with our people’s history, and I am also aware that God has given me the sacred responsibility of reshaping our state’s history.
The governor urged the new monarch to emphasise problems of security, justice, fairness, equity, tolerance, and solidarity within the chiefdom.”I once again congratulate the Yungur on their chiefdom and His Royal Majesty, Gubo Johnson Diyo Matalo, on his accession to the throne.
Fintiri stressed the significance of serving the Adamawa people with integrity while simultaneously addressing the state’s difficulties. His vision frequently involves efforts to expand economic prospects and create a more sustainable future for state residents.
