Namdas’ appointment reflects Adamawa’s quality -Fintiri

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has congratulated Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas on his appointment as director-general of the Border Communities Development Agency, describing the appointment as a deserved recognition of his experience, competence and commitment to public service.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, Fintiri also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the Adamawa-born former lawmaker to the leadership of the agency.

“I thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for finding this worthy son of Adamawa fit and proper for this strategic national assignment,” the governor said.

“It is a proud moment for our state and a testament to the quality of human resources Adamawa continues to contribute to nation building.”

Fintiri said he was confident that Namdas would draw on his legislative experience and public service record to advance the agency’s mandate, particularly in strengthening border communities, promoting peaceful cross-border relations and enhancing security along Nigeria’s frontiers.

“I have no doubt in the ability of Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas to deliver on this mandate. I urge him to continue to make Adamawa proud by serving with integrity, dedication and excellence,” he said.

The governor also prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for Namdas as he assumes office.
