Fintiri mourns Adamawa businessman Abdullahi Abba

Prominent Adamawa businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Abdullahi Abba, whose investments and charitable activities impacted communities across the state, died on Sunday, drawing tributes from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Fintiri described Abba as a respected entrepreneur and community figure whose business activities and philanthropy contributed to the economic and social development of Adamawa State.

In a statement issued by his chief press secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor said the government and people of the state mourned the loss of a man whose life was marked by enterprise, humility and service to his community.

“Alhaji Abdullahi Abba was not just a successful businessman; he was a compassionate father, philanthropist and community builder who raised independent and responsible children,” Fintiri said.

“He lived a fulfilled life of impact and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.”

The governor said Abba touched many lives through his generosity and commitment to the welfare of others, adding that his investments and entrepreneurial activities contributed to the growth of the state’s economy.

Fintiri described his death as a significant loss to Adamawa, saying the state had lost one of its notable sons and an entrepreneur whose business experience and investments had left a lasting mark.

He extended his condolences to Abba’s family, friends, associates and members of the business community.

The governor prayed that Almighty Allah forgive Abba’s shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and give his family the strength to bear the loss.
