They said the occasion offered an opportunity to recognise the governor’s years of public service and reflect on the shared aspirations of the people of Adamawa.

Galadima and Kamale noted that differences in political affiliation should not prevent leaders from recognising one another’s contributions to public service or cooperating on matters of common interest.

They stressed that the pursuit of political office must remain consistent with the broader responsibility of promoting peace, stability and development.

The APC candidates said Adamawa’s future depended on the willingness of political stakeholders to place the public interest above partisan considerations, particularly on issues affecting economic opportunities, infrastructure, education and the welfare of residents.

They also underscored the importance of maintaining civility in political engagement, saying democratic competition should encourage constructive debate rather than deepen divisions among communities.

According to the duo, the state’s religious, ethnic and political diversity should remain a source of strength, with leaders expected to demonstrate tolerance and respect for differing opinions.

They expressed hope that Fintiri would continue to enjoy the wisdom, strength and good health required to fulfil his responsibilities as governor.

Galadima and Kamale further called for sustained commitment to peaceful coexistence across Adamawa’s 21 local government areas, stressing that the wellbeing of residents must remain a priority for everyone entrusted with public responsibility.

They wished the governor a memorable birthday celebration and prayed for continued divine guidance, good health and fulfilment.

The message reflected a call for political maturity and mutual respect as Adamawa’s political actors prepare for the next electoral cycle.
