Stopping payment of salaries to some Adamawa workers is inhuman – APC tells Fintiri

Ahmed Lawal, APc Organising Secretary in Adamawa has said that the stoppage of payment of salaries to some Adamawa workers by Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri is wicked. Lawal made the declaration while briefing newsmen on Friday in Yola.

He condemned the conduct by the Fintiri administration, adding that stopping salaries of workers employed by Bindow was illegal and wickedness on Adamawa people.
He recalled that Bindow did not sack workers employed by Bala Ngilari, and even some of the board’s appointments under Ngilari. “Bindow was a governor until May 29 and all his conducts were within the law.

“We acknowledged the dissolution of political appointees of the past administration but the civil servants are still people of Adamawa and they are not politicians. “Sacking or suspending them is illegal and wickedness since they were duly captured and given staff numbers? “We advise the state government to immediately reinstate them and to desist from acts that would enthrone crisis in the state.

”We also warned the governor for undermining the good works and achievements by Bindow and focus on what he can do to outshine Bindow, Lawal caution.
