Fintiri is victimising Bindow’s appointees; as his actions are not done in public interest as claimed -Mapida

. The governor should tell the people that he is not comfortable with those appointed by Bindow not hiding under public interest, the only action of Fintiri that will be supported by the public is paying the 32000 minimum wage, payment of pension and gratuity, payment of waec and neco fees and free healthcare for women and children not the current witch hunting been tagged as sanity”.

A former secretary, Justice Frontier, Mapida Ikwurunyi has described the speech by Gov. Umaru Fintiri dissolving boards of parastatals in Adamawa as “a litany of false claims, empty assertions and bogus promises.”

Mapida also said that the governor was “fictitious” in his assertions that the state lack sanity and probity and every action of his predecessor was with levity is unfortunate.

Rather, Mapida said, the hard economic reality shows that not only has the state become more economically disadvantaged under Gov. Fintiri, as Fintiri has abandoned governance for witch hunting those appointed by Bindow, “show me one action of Fintiri that shows he is ready for governance, some of us thought that he will hit the ground running immediately after swearing in as governor of the state, but reverse is the case as Fintiri fails to initiate any project since he assumed office as governor of the state”.

The former secretary, Mr. Mapida, stated this in a statement in Abuja on Thursday.

He said, “Perhaps Fintiri needs to be reminded that governing Adamawa State with propaganda will be counterproductive as his government is tilting towards anarchy.

“In his false assertions, Gov. Fintiri deliberately failed to mention that his 83 administration as acting governor of the state has returned our beloved state to a debtor state by accumulating over N5 billion debt through which he had mortgaged the future of our state.”

Mapida also faulted the governor’s claims that his administration is putting Adamawa state on path of sanity and probity, “firing those appointed by your predecessor amount to bringing the state to sanity? On whose interest is Fintiri acting to fire those appointed by his predecessor?

The governor should tell the people that he is not comfortable with those appointed by Bindow not hiding under public interest, the only action of Fintiri that will be supported by the public is paying the 32000 minimum wage, payment of pension and gratuity, payment of waec and neco fees and free healthcare for women and children not the current witch hunting been tagged as sanity”.

“What the Fintiri’s administration should note is that Adamawa people are no longer swayed by the false performance claims of his administration. They have the facts and nobody can beguile them as was the case in 2014,” Mapida added.
