The secretary, Adamawa coalition against corruption, has asked Gov. Fintiri to sack the chairperson, Adamawa state universal education board, Fadimatu Alfa for breaching procurement act by award contract to her own company.
The group alleged that Fadimatu short stay in office is characterised by monumental fraud and high handedness.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the group, Mapida Ikurnyi made available to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, said it is shocking that Fadimatu has not been removed from office, despite the allegation of fraudulent practices levelled against her.
“we expect the governor to prove to prove to Adamawa residents that he is committed to fight against corruption by doing the needful in the case of Fadimatu, we are giving Adamawa state government 14 days ultimatum to sack her or we call for state wide protest”.
