Gombi/Hong: Captain Buba’s Third Term Bid Suffers another Setback As constituents Seek Alternative

The difficulty experienced by Rep. Captain Yusuf Buba to secure a third term ticket may have been deepened by the recent development among APC leaders in the state.

Our correspondent gathered that there is a strong contention among the Gombi/Hong leaders to seek an alternative in the next election.

According to them, a cursory look at Buba’s administration created more problems in the constituency than ever.

At a recent meeting held by stakeholders and leaders of the two local governments that made up of Gombi/Hong Federal constituency expressed willingness to back another candidate that may favour the people.

Among the major issues they highlighted against the member representing Gombi/Hong Federal constituency is the recent  claims that his empowerment centre located in between Gombi/Hong is operational as a visit by The Finder team to empowerment show that the building is under lock and key for long time.
