Crime: Group appeals to Fintiri, Speaker, ADSHA, to Honour exceptional police officers at the forefront of fighting crime at Adamawa state command.
Supporters of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state and the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Aminu Abba under the auspices of the Fintiri Rainbow Organisation, have called on Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state to honour Police Officers that contribute immensely to nip kidnapping, banditry and Shila boys operation in Adamawa.
This was released in a communique at the end of its meeting in Abuja attended by supporters of the Governor and the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Aminu Abbas.
The communiqué was signed by the National Leader of the Group, Mohammed Ahijo and secretary, Peter Ijapari.
The Fintiri Rainbow Organisation appealed to Fintiri to honour the exceptional service of men of the police force especially those are the forefront of fighting kidnappers, Shila boys and arm banditry.
According to them, they were backing Police officer that fought kidnapping to a still to support the Governor in actualising his campaign promise of fighting crime in Adamawa.
“Before now nobody can sleep in the state with two eyes open due to excesses of Kidnappers Shila boys and arm banditry, but as we speak, kidnapping, shila boys and arm banditry has been brought to bear.
They also enjoined the Governor and the speaker, Adamawa state House of Assembly to Honour all police officers that risk their lives to apprehend deadly kidnappers in Adamawa, especially the SIB and Anti-kidnapping units of the Adamawa state police command without further delay, as said without these men the security promise of the governor would have not been achieved.
The group strongly appeals to the Speaker, Aminu Abbas to as a matter of urgency, bring to the floor of the assembly, men of the Police that fought crime in Adamawa state for recognition as such action will boost their morals to do more.
The group also commended the Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, Mr Olugbenga Adeyanju for keying into the security promise of the Governor.
