APC YOUTHS TO ISHAKU ABBO: YOU CAN’T SPEAK FOR APC

The chairman, APC youth forum, Muhammed Yunusa, said the statement credited to Ishaku Abbo that neither he nor Bindow or Nayko is desperate to win APC governorship ticket in 2023, remained his personal opinion.

Yunusa made this remark when he spoke with newsmen in Abuja on Sunday.

He said Ishaku Abbo’s statement did not in any way represent the official position of the APC other prospective APC governorship aspirant as he was not yet a full APC member to have warranted him to make statement capable of hoodwinking other candidates from pursuing their ambition while Abbo is busy campaigning already and showing desperation.

Yunusa said Abbo could only speak in his personal capacity adding that his opinion remains personal and did not represent that of the party who becomes the governorship candidate of the party in Adamawa come 2023.

He added that  Abbo’s statement that himself and others in the ceremony are not desperate is a blatant lie and Abbo has once again exposed is a divisive character, who is Abbo to speak about governorship ticket when he is yet to show any achievements as a senator?

“We are aware how some Abuja politicians plan to use Abbo to destabilise other Adamawa north aspirants in 2023 as we have it on good authority that he was promised deputy governorship ticket in 2023, everybody was conscious of his reckless statement; he cannot coerce anybody to support that cunning statement that he is not desperate to deceive other aspirants.”

He, however, said it was not the time for buck-passing or blame-game but time to collectively reposition the party. “We are repositioning to our party. What we should do is to join hands to reposition APC to reclaim the party’s lost glory. This is what is expected of us all at this time’’, Yunusa said.

The Finder recall that Abbo had on Saturday claims himself, Bindow and Nyako are not desperate to win the party ticket in 2023, a statement that infuriated other party officials
