The Adamawa state resident electoral commissioner, Hudu, agreed to help Binani emerge as Adamawa governor, according to the voice record between the REC and the electoral officer of the Furfore local government.

The election was conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2023, in Furfore and a result was produced.
