Army chief emphasises data administration and record keeping

Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, has entrusted officers and troops with efficient data management and record-keeping to maintain the smooth running of the Nigerian Army.

 

The seminar was titled “Enhancing Professionalism in Data Management and Record-Keeping System for Effective Administration of the Nigerian Army” by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), who stressed the importance of effective data management and record-keeping in the cyber and media domains of the Nigerian Army’s complex multi-dimensional environment.

 

The seminar’s focus is on preparing the Nigerian Army to fulfil its constitutional obligations in a joint setting by providing it with the training, equipment, and motivation it needs to do so. Maj. Gen. Folusho Oyinlola, the Military Secretary, has stressed the importance of modernising the Nigerian Army’s methods of data administration and record-keeping.

 

He hoped that by taking advantage of this training, the soldiers would be able to improve their professionalism and efficiency in the field.
