Fintiri’s track record is formidable enough to keep him in good stead with the people of Adamawa.

In Zayyad’s writing which bears the above caption, one cannot but accept some of the points he made.

It is time to take stock of past events and to make amends where the needs arise. It is a fact that even the most trained Mandarin cannot dance on eggs without cracking some.

The fact that Governor Fintiri might have offended some bigwigs in the state cannot be completely ruled out. In this, I agree with the author.

In leadership, such things are bound to happen hence the need for reassessment of the situation as the polity evolves.

As it is, with the primaries over and the stage set for the final rumble, it is expected that tempers have cooled, and the period of reconciliation that goes beyond the petty will come to the fore.

As a democratic party, the PDP family has permanently imbibed forgiveness in the interest of national progress.

With the weaknesses of other contending parties exposed, the party is taking stock and strategizing on the national task of revamping the nation and saving it from collapse.

Yes, Fintiri’s moves are all part of the master plan of the party to salvage the poorly managed economy. They fix the local and national situations that are now in deplorable conditions.

The time calls for more than only reconciliation but also a total appraisal of the situation on the ground.

Jimeta and other provincial areas of the state also have problems and have not been left out of the move to set things right.

Each individual in the state is not left out as governor Fintiri prepares to move on to the next gear for the more remarkable state development.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s track record is formidable enough to keep him in good stead with the people of Adamawa against Aishatu Binani and other pretenders to the office, but that has not lowered the governor’s guard; no stone will be left unturned, nor any possibility left to chance.

It won’t be over until it is all over. Fintiri is on his toes from day one, without faltering nor swerving from his promises to the people of Adamawa.

The dice are cast; reconciliation, reorganization, and massive mobilization are underway to prove to doubting Thomases that Adamawa has a presidential candidate that bears no grudge against his traducers of the past that have rallied around him from all levels. Adamawa also has a governor that has kept his campaign promises.

The PDP has at all levels performed well for the Adamawa electorate.

In all fairness, the 2023 elections are a litmus test for the state that can boast of the most credible presidential candidate and a governor that has performed far and above before him. With this, we can be in saying it is our”turn”, not “my turn” or “Emi lo kan” like Tinubu.

This is our Adamawa. This is our collective heritage. This is our chance. This is our state, and all of us should maintain our PDP state irrespective of creed.

Yes, as he continues reaching out to “other aggrieved persons statewide, ” Zayyad, rest assured that ba yaudara a lamarin Nan!!!!

George Kushi is the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State and writes it from Dougirei Government House Yola.
